Programs built around every child's rights

From school-based clubs to disability inclusion and sport-based health education, our programs meet children where they already are: in school, on the field, and in their communities.

Our core programs

Child Rights Clubs
We coordinate a network of Child Rights Clubs across primary schools in Hoima District, giving children a structured space to learn about and advocate for their own rights.
Disability Inclusion
We work directly with children and young people with disabilities and their teachers, families, and schools to make sure they can fully participate, not just attend.
Sport for Health Education
In partnership with Tackle Africa, the FIFA Foundation, and the Fergusson Trust Fund, we run football-coaching clubs that deliver HIV and Sexual Reproductive Health education to hundreds of young players each year.
Teacher & Coach Training
We train teachers, coaches, and community leaders to recognize and respond to children's needs, especially children with special needs, inside and outside the classroom.

Common questions about our programs

Our Child Rights Clubs and disability inclusion programs are open to primary school children across Hoima District, with particular attention to children with disabilities who are often left out of mainstream programming.

Our sport-based programs work with schools and are delivered through trained coaches, split into clubs of 25 players with a strong focus on female participation.

We work with schools, local government, parents, and international partners including Tackle Africa, the FIFA Foundation, and the ITTF Foundation, so our programs are never delivered by HONECRIC alone.
